Overview
Natural hot-spring baths and the Blue Zone guest lounge occupy the sixth floor of ReLabo Medical Spa & Stay, with a deck facing the water. Below, the hotel connects directly to Aomori Station inside the East Exit complex, keeping rail arrivals, airport buses, and the bayfront close together.
Shinkansen trains stop at Shin-Aomori Station, not Aomori Station. The Ou Line covers the one-stop journey in about five minutes, followed by an indoor route from Aomori Station to the hotel.
Rooms
The 20-square-meter Creative Room has a desk more than two meters wide and a printer, while the Cocoon Room uses the same floor area for a softer layout with a meditation cushion.
Tourist Rooms include doubles, twins, and triples. The triples measure 38 or 39 square meters and sleep up to three guests. Zen Rooms provide 31- or 34-square-meter twin and king layouts, while the 66-square-meter Junior Suite adds a separate living area for two.
Check the bathroom details before booking. Several 20-square-meter doubles and one Tourist Twin category have a shower but no bathtub; other twins, triples, Zen Rooms, and suites include a bath.
Facilities
The sixth-floor baths use an alkaline natural spring without added water. There are separate bathing areas for men and women, plus two private hot-spring rooms with their own living spaces. These private rooms are offered as paid, bookable sessions rather than standard in-room baths.
The Blue Zone lounge is open from early morning until midnight. Guests can bring coffee, apple juice, wellness drinks, fruit, or seasonal snacks onto its waterfront deck before or after a bath. The wider wellness floor also provides spa, yoga, fitness, counseling, and other specialist services, with specific treatments and programs booked separately.
Dining
The guest restaurant uses Aomori ingredients for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast runs from 6:30 to 10:00. Dinner is served from 17:00 to 22:00 and requires a reservation by the previous day.
Bar The Blue provides an evening option within the hotel. Together, the restaurant and bar let guests keep a meal or drink inside the station complex when the weather is poor or the day ends at the spa.
Location and transport
Aomori Station serves the JR Ou and Tsugaru lines and the Aoimori Railway. Local and regional trains run toward Shin-Aomori, Hirosaki, and Asamushi Onsen, while the station-side setting keeps the waterfront within an easy walk.
The wider Aomori Station Area is in the city center rather than the Shinkansen district. For bullet-train arrivals and departures, allow time for the local connection to Shin-Aomori.
Airport access
Airport buses travel between Aomori Airport and Aomori Station Front in about 35 minutes. They stop at the station rather than the hotel entrance, but the direct station connection keeps the final leg short and mostly indoors.
Why stay here
A rail or airport-bus arrival can lead straight into check-in, a hot-spring bath, and time in the waterfront lounge without another trip across the city. That combination works especially well on an arrival day, a final night, or a short Aomori visit organized around train travel.
Outside the complex, Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse displays festival floats and explains their history. Nearby A-FACTORY combines regional shopping with an on-site apple-cider factory, and both are part of the same compact bayfront walk as the hotel.
Good to know
ReLabo connects to Aomori Station; it doesn't connect to Shin-Aomori Station. Some rooms are shower-only, dinner requires advance booking, and private baths and specialist wellness services require separate reservations and fees.
