KOKO HOTEL Hakata Shinkansenguchi is in Fukuoka-Hakata, on the Chikushi Exit side of Hakata Station. That side of the station is closely associated with Shinkansen access, making the hotel a straightforward base for airport arrivals, early trains, and rail trips around Kyushu. The property rebranded from Hotel Wing International Hakata Shinkansenguchi to KOKO HOTEL on January 27, 2026, so older references may still use the former name.

The hotel has 109 non-smoking rooms, mostly 12-square-meter single and semi-double rooms with 140 cm beds, plus seven 17-square-meter twin rooms. The room range is compact, so it is best for solo travelers, couples, and short stays rather than groups needing generous floor space. In-room basics include Wi-Fi, USB outlets, a refrigerator, kettle, modular bath, and toilet with washing functions.
Facilities
The strongest stay features are the second-floor public baths and the library lounge. The baths are separated by gender and available to hotel guests, while the lounge gives guests Wi-Fi, books, TV, and free coffee.

The hotel is about four minutes on foot from JR Hakata Station's Shinkansen-side Chikushi Exit, about seven minutes from Hakata Bus Terminal, and about two minutes from Hakata Station East Exit 6 on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line.
The Chikushi Exit location matters because KOKO HOTEL Hakata Station, the former Hotel Wing International Select Hakata Ekimae, is on the opposite Hakata Exit side. Double-check the property name and exit when routing to the hotel.
Airport access
Fukuoka Airport access is by subway through Hakata Station rather than by hotel-door shuttle. The airport's domestic terminal is connected to the Fukuoka City Subway, and the Airport Line runs from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station in about five minutes. From there, continue by the short walk to the Chikushi Exit side.
