Overview
A five-minute walk from Exit 4 of Shin-Osaka Station brings guests to karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower. Shinkansen, JR, and Osaka Metro services converge nearby, which helps with early departures, late arrivals, and itineraries involving several trips beyond Osaka.
Central Osaka is still a direct subway ride away. The Midosuji Line runs to Umeda, Shinsaibashi, and Namba without a change, though the immediate Shin-Osaka Station Area is geared more toward rail connections and everyday convenience than nightlife or sightseeing.
Rooms
The 396 rooms range from compact doubles to larger twin and corner layouts. Options for three or four guests are available, while selected rooms on the 15th floor and above provide more space or wider views.
The 160 connecting rooms are worth considering for families and small groups. An internal door joins two adjacent rooms, providing two bathrooms and space for up to six people without separating the group.
Facilities
Separate large baths and saunas for men and women are on the fourth floor and are free for staying guests. They operate into the night and reopen in the morning, a welcome option after a long day in transit or before an early train.
The same floor has a laundry corner. Free luggage storage and automated check-in and check-out are also helpful when the trip involves several rail journeys.
Dining
Gochisou-SUN on the third floor serves a breakfast buffet with more than 40 dishes. The selection includes an Osaka specialty corner and food associated with neighboring regions. Later in the day, part of the restaurant becomes a guest lounge with complimentary soft drinks.
It isn't an all-day restaurant. For lunch or dinner, guests can use the eateries around Shin-Osaka Station or take the Midosuji Line into central Osaka.
Location and transport
The hotel is about five minutes from Shin-Osaka Station's Exit 4 after arriving by JR or Osaka Metro. Staying this close removes the need for an extra subway journey from Umeda or Namba when a Shinkansen departure is the day's priority.
For city trips, the Midosuji Line is the main connection. Trains run directly south through Umeda and Shinsaibashi to Namba, keeping major shopping and entertainment districts within easy reach even though they aren't immediately outside the hotel.
Airport access
The Haruka limited express runs directly between Kansai International Airport and Shin-Osaka Station. The hotel gives an approximate journey time of 50 minutes by train, followed by the five-minute walk from Exit 4.
From Osaka International Airport, also known as Itami Airport, limousine buses take about 25 minutes to the Shin-Osaka Station bus terminal. The hotel is then roughly ten minutes away on foot. Both airport routes finish in the station area rather than at the hotel entrance.
Why stay here
A short walk to the Shinkansen platforms eases early departures, luggage-heavy arrivals, and multi-city itineraries. Connecting rooms extend that convenience to families and groups, while the large baths and saunas provide more downtime than a basic overnight stop.
Good to know
The hotel is near Shin-Osaka Station but isn't connected to it, and the closest exit depends on whether you arrive by JR or Osaka Metro. There is no hotel shuttle or general car park. One disability-accessible parking space is listed, while other drivers need to use nearby paid parking.
Shin-Osaka and Osaka Station in Umeda are separate stations. The Midosuji Line connects them directly. Umeda and Namba put restaurants, shopping, and nightlife closer to the door, while Shin-Osaka keeps the Shinkansen close.
