Room choice comes down largely to space and bed layout. The 11-square-meter Single A is the smallest option and has a more compact unit bath than the 12-square-meter Single B. Semi-double rooms measure 13 square meters, twins are 18 square meters, and the 20-square-meter Royal Suite can be reserved only by phone.
Most categories have smoking and non-smoking options, while some rooms are reserved for heated-tobacco use. Check the room designation before booking. For two guests or anyone carrying more luggage, the twin provides the most usable space among the standard online choices.
Facilities
The separate public baths use an active-stone artificial hot-spring system rather than natural spring water. They open from 15:00 until 2:00 and again from 5:00 to 10:00, giving late arrivals and early starters time for a soak.
Coin laundry and dryers are helpful on longer trips. Luggage storage, Wi-Fi, a 24-hour front desk, and self-serve lobby coffee cover everyday needs.
Dining
The included breakfast buffet runs from 6:30 to 9:00, with hot dishes and a rotating selection of European-style breads. The early start lets guests eat before sightseeing without arranging a separate cafe stop.
The hotel's own dining is focused on breakfast. For lunch and dinner, restaurants around the station and the A-FACTORY waterfront complex are close by.
Location and transport
Use Aomori Station's East Exit for the roughly one-minute walk. Conventional JR services and the Aoimori Railway connect central Aomori with Hirosaki, Asamushi Onsen, and other regional destinations. Local trains on the Ou Line provide the connection to Shin-Aomori for Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen services.
The waterfront begins just beyond the station. Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse is about two minutes from the rail complex, while A-FACTORY is about one minute away, leaving time for an easy walk before check-in or after checking out.
Airport access
Direct airport buses stop in front of the hotel and reach Aomori Airport in about 35 minutes. No rail transfer is needed, but this is a scheduled public bus rather than a hotel-operated shuttle. Check the current timetable before an early flight or late arrival.
Why stay here
The one-minute walk to the East Exit simplifies early trains, late arrivals, and airport-bus connections. Included breakfast and the public baths' early-to-late opening hours add comfort, while compact rooms and restricted mechanical parking are the main tradeoffs.
Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse displays full-size festival floats throughout the year, and A-FACTORY combines regional food shopping with an apple-cider facility. Both are close enough to visit during a short waterfront stay.
Good to know
The paid car park has 52 mechanical spaces and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Vehicle height, width, weight, and attachment restrictions apply, and motorcycles aren't accepted. Check your vehicle before relying on the car park.
Luggage space on the Aomori Airport bus can fill. Travelers carrying skis, snowboards, or folding bicycles should review the current operator guidance and may need to make arrangements in advance.
