Overview
Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande is directly above the Keihan station and mall complex at Kyobashi, where JR, Keihan, and Osaka Metro services meet. An elevator beside the Central Exit reaches the seventh-floor lobby, keeping arrivals on Keihan under cover.
JR Kyobashi's North Exit is immediately beside the complex, while Osaka Metro Exit 4 is about three minutes away through the connecting passage. Together, the three networks support city sightseeing, events around Osaka Castle, and day trips along the Keihan line toward Kyoto.
Rooms
Room selection deserves a close look because floor area and capacity vary more than the category names suggest. Many singles, doubles, compact twins, and bunk rooms measure 17 square meters. The Casual Twin was renewed in 2026 and provides 19 square meters for two guests, while the renewed Moderate Room uses a sofa bed for its second guest.
The bunk layouts accommodate up to three people within a compact footprint. Standard and Twin B rooms increase the floor area to 26 square meters and sleep as many as three. At 36 square meters, the Family, Twin C, Superior Twin, and Deluxe rooms accommodate up to four, leaving more space for shared luggage and giving groups an alternative to booking two smaller rooms.
Facilities
A security door controls entry to the Superior Floor on level 15. Superior rooms add a coffee machine and upgraded air purifier, although the Superior Single and Double remain 17 square meters. For extra space along with the top-floor setting, compare the 36-square-meter Superior Twin and Deluxe rooms.
The seventh-floor lobby has automated check-in machines and an amenity bar, with paid laundry on the same level. Banquet and meeting rooms are also on this floor.
Dining
Restaurant Lorraine serves breakfast on the seventh floor from 7:00 to 10:00. Its buffet has more than 70 choices, including an Osaka food corner and dishes prepared hot during service. Broad windows overlook the Kyobashi cityscape.
Lorraine also opens for lunch and afternoon tea. Dinner is available only during selected periods, so check before planning an evening meal there. When the restaurant is closed, the connected mall and surrounding streets provide plenty of alternatives.
Location and transport
Each network serves a different purpose. JR Osaka Loop Line trains reach Osaka Station in about six minutes and connect with routes toward Shin-Osaka Station and Universal Studios Japan. Osaka Metro's Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line runs directly to Shinsaibashi and Dome-mae Chiyozaki.
Keihan is the distinguishing connection. Trains from Kyobashi Station (Osaka) continue to Yodoyabashi in central Osaka and toward Fushimi-inari, Gion-shijo, Sanjo, and Demachiyanagi in eastern Kyoto. This route reaches Kyoto's east side without first passing through Kyoto Station.
Airport access
JR Kansai-Airport Rapid trains run from Kyobashi to Kansai International Airport in about 78 minutes without a transfer. The train divides at Hineno, so follow current JR-West guidance and confirm that you're in a car continuing to the airport.
Osaka International Airport requires a transfer. Take the Osaka Loop Line to Osaka Station, walk to the airport bus stop, and continue by limousine bus to Itami. This route is less direct than the Kansai Airport service, especially with luggage.
Why stay here
Keihan trains downstairs simplify trips toward eastern Kyoto, while JR and Osaka Metro cover Osaka Station, Shinsaibashi, and event venues across the city. The range of rooms also gives groups of three or four alternatives to compact doubles and twins. Shinkansen journeys still require a transfer to Shin-Osaka.
Within the Osaka Castle Area, Osaka-jo Hall is about 15 minutes away on foot. Osaka Castle Park adds the castle museum, gardens, seasonal flowers, and concert venues, supporting either an event-focused stay or a longer walk through the park.
Good to know
Only the Keihan station is directly connected to the hotel. JR Kyobashi is immediately adjacent, and Osaka Metro is about three minutes away. The lobby is on the seventh floor rather than at street level.
Drivers use the connected mall garage instead of a dedicated hotel car park. It closes from midnight until 6:00 a.m., so late-night entry and early-morning exit aren't possible.
