Transport access and hotel guide

Overview

Just one minute on foot from Kobe Station, Centurion Hotel Grand Kobe Station keeps arrival straightforward even with luggage. Kobe Harborland begins on the opposite side of the rail hub, putting waterfront shopping and dining close by.

This is a mid-range hotel focused on everyday convenience rather than a full-service stay. Its 131 rooms accommodate solo guests, couples, and families, while breakfast and guest laundry cover the essentials for short visits and longer rail-based trips.

Rooms

Room choice makes a noticeable difference. Compact singles, doubles, and queens range from 14 to 17 square metres, while standard king and twin rooms start at 20 square metres. Several superior rooms add a sofa bed for a third guest.

The 39-square-metre Premium Family room sleeps up to six with four beds and two sofa beds, an uncommon option this close to a major station. A 16-square-metre accessible room has wider bathroom and toilet entrances, and Slumberland beds are used across the room categories.

Facilities

A coin laundry on the second floor is helpful for longer stays. Guests will find an ice machine, microwave, and drinks vending machine on the third floor, while the second-floor lounge can be rented for small meetings.

Drivers can use the hotel's partner parking arrangement. Availability and discount conditions may change during major local events, so check the current parking notice before arrival.

Dining

Breakfast is served at Asage from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with last orders at 9:30 AM. The buffet focuses on small dishes and incorporates Kobe and regional flavors, allowing guests to sample several items instead of choosing one large set meal.

The hotel's in-house dining is limited to breakfast. For lunch and dinner, Harborland's shopping complexes and waterfront restaurants provide a wider selection.

Location and transport

Kobe Station is a one-minute walk away and serves JR Kobe Line trains. Eastbound services run toward Sannomiya and Osaka, while westbound trains provide straightforward connections toward Akashi and Himeji.

Harborland Station is about three minutes away on foot. Kaigan Line trains reach Sannomiya-Hanadokei-mae in about five minutes, providing another option when the waterfront side of central Kobe is more convenient than the JR route.

Airport access

From Kobe Airport, the Port Liner reaches Sannomiya in about 18 minutes. Change there to JR for the roughly four-minute ride to Kobe Station, followed by the one-minute walk to the hotel.

There isn't a direct hotel-door airport shuttle. The route is simple but requires a transfer at Sannomiya, which is worth considering when you're carrying heavy bags or traveling with children.

Why stay here

A one-minute walk from Kobe Station simplifies day trips and onward rail travel. Larger groups can book the six-person family room, while the coin laundry supports stays longer than a single night.

Harborland brings shopping, restaurants, a Ferris wheel, and the Kobe Anpanman Children's Museum together beside the water. Beyond the immediate station area, the waterfront walk continues toward Meriken Park and Kobe Port Tower, keeping several of Kobe's best-known sights in the same part of the city.

Good to know

The hotel is close to Kobe Station but isn't inside or directly connected to it. The final walk includes an outdoor section.

Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM. Breakfast finishes early by leisure-hotel standards, while drivers should confirm partner-parking conditions if a festival or other large event overlaps with their stay.
